Meet Kevin
Kevin Briggs co-founded and leads Texas de Peru, a surgical non-profit serving the poor in the High Andes.
Since its beginnings over a decade ago, Texas de Peru has been composed of healthcare leaders leading medical care teams to Peru and other countries. Drawing on the humorous and often poignant stories in his book "We Own A Llama Suit, And You Can Too!", Kevin speaks and presents regularly to gain support and awareness for the mission and attract volunteers and contributors.
He has a unique passion for inspiring others to pursue their own impactful ventures, overcoming imposter syndrome and take action anyway. Kevin also provides leadership development and mentoring for participants, enabling them to lead international healthcare mission work or other passion projects as well. Additionally Kevin coaches and provides Clinical Job Shadowing experience for Pre-Med Students.
Kevin is a leader in health information technology and business development space. He lives in Coppell, Texas with his wife, is the father of 3 children, is an avid hiker, golfer and mediocre musician.

Kevin's Testimonials
I help business leaders overcome excuses, fire up their passion projects to deepen relationships and help a lot of people through humanitarian service and once-in-a-lifetime adventure.
Alright, let's talk speakers. Look, if you put me in a conference room with some suit droning on about "synergy" and "leveraging assets," I'm gonna be the one in the back discreetly checking flight prices to anywhere else. I'd rather have a root canal, seriously. Business-speak is my kryptonite.
But then, every once in a while, you stumble across someone who gets it. Someone who isn't just regurgitating the latest buzzwords or trying to sell you their "revolutionary" five-step program. You find someone who tells you a story. A real one, with all the messy bits and the a-ha moments.
That's the gold. That's the signal in this deafening roar of perfectly-coiffed, media-trained automatons. I don't want polished – I want real. Give me someone who's stumbled, who's learned, and who isn't afraid to show you the scars. Someone who's maybe, just maybe, got a llama suit tucked away in their closet, and isn't afraid to admit it.
Because let's be honest, anyone that dedicated to that level of whimsy, or that unapologetically themselves, has probably got something interesting to say.

What a truly inspiring experience it was to hear Kevin Briggs speak!
I feel so much gratitude towards Kevin for sharing the compelling story of his journey, taking us through the conception and growth of the remarkable, life-changing mission that is Texas de Peru.
Lee Carter, Chief Sales Officer

Hearing Kevin present was much like reading a compelling, personal book – the kind that leaves you thinking long after you've closed the cover, or in this case, long after the applause has faded. What struck me most was the sheer authenticity of it all.
He didn't just deliver a talk; they shared a piece of themselves, much like an author sharing their personal journey. The message – The Power of including others in your vision and deepening relationships – was both important and insightful. It was about being there, about finding a higher purpose, and it landed without pretense.
Much like a well-loved book you can easily flip through, the presentation was straightforward and accessible. The key takeaways were clear, the kind you could easily recount to a friend over coffee, thinking, "You have to hear this one part."
